NEW SINGLE
MAGNETIC FIELD

OUT NOW

The first single from Helen Ryder’s new album Love Over Hate

Helen Ryder’s new album Love Over Hate, due for release in late 2025, is a reflection on love and hate, so intricately entwined in the current times we live in. Helen has created a lavishly orchestrated sound to accomodate a voice that dives deep and low, or soars high and intimate on songs that contemplate love, loss and hope, both personal and political.

The first single Magnetic Field is a luminous outing weaving pop hues and gossamer melodies, capturing the feeling of a brand-new love, and how it has the power to radiate out into the world to create positivity for all.

Magnetic Field features Bruce Haymes on Wurlitzer and piano, Shane Reilly on string arrangements, Stephen Hadley on bass and Roger Bergodaz on drums.

Josephine (Love Is Everything) is the second single from the forthcoming album Love Over Hate and features Bruce Haymes on piano, Wurlitzer and organ, Shane Reilly on acoustic guitars, Stephen Hadley on bass, Roger Bergodaz on drums, Katie Bates and Stephen Grady on backing vocals.

It is the retelling of a journey to a new and distant land, leaving family and friends behind. The meditative psychedelic chorus ‘love is everything, love is everywhere and that’s all you ever need to know’ honours Helen’s mother’s positivity, fearlessness and reinvention.
